Refreshed tennis courts reopen
Just in time for the warmest day of the year, the George Rogers Tennis Courts reopened today. The once-every-three-year maintenance work was done over the last two days, sealing and smoothing cracks, along with other minor touches. The two courts--for tennis only--are right next to the baseball fields. Both should see a lot of action this weekend as the temperature is forecasted for the mid-80s on Sunday. photos by the author

George Rogers Park Pathways Fall Short on Accessibility
The playground at George Rogers Park has pathways with stairs that are not "stroller" nor ADA friendly This is the entrance to the playground: wooden stairs and a gravel slope that lead to a paved path to the playground that then connects with stairs?
