The banning of gasoline powered leaf-blowers was a topic of conversation at this month's Lake Oswego Neighborhood Chairs Committee. It's been debated for a few years now, but with fall here, we've seen more in the press recently including articles about the cities of Lake Oswego and Portland discussing the topic. One article shared at the Committee took a different approach on the debate and we wanted to share with you The Gasoline-Powered Leaf Blower as a Metaphor for Industrial Society.
