As the Neighborhood Association Chair I received the email invitation for Old Town today.

Parks & Recreation from the City of Lake Oswego
"On behalf of the City of Lake Oswego Parks & Recreation Department, we are pleased to invite you to a groundbreaking ceremony for the Willamette River Greenway Trail project.
This important project represents a significant investment in our community, improving local and regional walking and biking connections, enhancing accessibility in our parks, and expanding recreational opportunities for residents and visitors alike.
Groundbreaking Ceremony Details
Date: Wednesday, July 15, 2026
Time: 10:00 to 11:30 a.m.
Location: George Rogers Park - 611 S State Street, Lake Oswego Near the lower restrooms (follow the event signage)
Parking & Transportation
On site and ADA parking will be available at George Rogers Park. Overflow parking is available at the Lakewood Center, 368 S State Street. Carpooling is encouraged.
An optional shuttle will depart from City Hall at 9:45 a.m. and return at approximately 11:45 a.m. City Hall is located at 380 A Avenue, Lake Oswego.
