Here's a map below of our neighborhood in context to Oswego Lake and downtown Lake Oswego

Along State Street the shopping center has wonderful places we can walk to:
Nicoletta's Restaurant - read our blog post about Nicoletta's and why it's a favorite restaurant in LO and with neighbors in Old Town.
Schmidt Eye Care - Dr. Kimberly Schmidt is our eye doctor and while we share the same last name, she is not a relative. We give her a 5 star review for how thorough and nice she is and for her selection and her staff who fit glasses. Learn more about her on her bio on her website. Tell her Derrith & Michael Schmidt sent you.
Trainer's Club - a locally owned gym that also offers therapeutic massage (you don't have to be a club member for that), personal training, senior fitness, and a registered dietician for consulting services. Many of our Old Town Neighbors are Trainer's Club members. Trainer's Club business partners also include a physical therapist, a chiropractor and Lake Oswego Pilates studio.
Pigments - a wonderful locally owned women's clothing boutique that also sells adorable clothes and gifts for kids/grandkids too. Read our blog post about Judy and her store
The UPS Store - we love walking up there! The people who work there are so nice.
Tailor & Alteration Specialty shop - locally owned. They altered my wedding dress. They don't have a website so drop by or call them at 503-636-3454.
Lake Oswego Jewelers - Family-run jeweler. We bought my engagement ring from them!
Taqueria la Marquesa - a very popular and highly rated (4.8 on Google Reviews) Mexican "food cart" type of place with food to go or a few tables to eat in. Call to order pick-up at 917-313-2245.
A new place: Blackbird Indoor Golf - we haven't been yet but a neighbor has and says it's locally owned and a fun place to play "virtual golf" in a bar setting. 5 star reviews on Google from 249 people. They have leagues, lessons and say, "Guests will enjoy a relaxed and welcoming environment including dedicated play on state-of-the-art equipment and a variety of beverages and snacks to savor while watching their favorite sporting events."

Their rates as of April 15, 2026 on their website look to be:
$60 per hour for standard bay
$75 per hour for VIP bay
$15 for club rentals (if necessary) per set per session
Tee times are booked by simulator time, not per person
Reservations are not required but are recommended.
Petco - a favorite place our dog Walter loves to go! We take him there to pick out his own toys on his birthday and now he wants to walk over there regularly!

Wyatt Moon Mercantile - they sell indoor plants and clothing.
Monster Tea Lake Oswego - always a busy place for people in the summer.
US Bank also has an office in this shopping complex. Our Old Town Neighborhood Association account is with this bank branch.
Subway has a store on the corner of Wilbur Street and State Street
More places we can walk to nearby:
Whole Foods - we love this store for the produce, meat/fish selection, senior discount Tuesdays, and the people who work at the store. Also a shout out to the fast, friendly people who man the Amazon returns counter.
Willamette Valley Vineyards tasting room - their restaurant has the highest rated food on Google maps in LO! Read our blog about that
Ace Hardware - great people work there and it's so convenient for us.
Lake Theater & Cafe - great food and lakeside patio. And movies.
Barber-Q - my husband gets his hair cut there
Lexidog - our dog Walter has had a lot of fun there playing with other dogs
Yoga Six and Pure Barre and Black Dog Jiu-Jitsu
Barkzone - dog grooming that friends go to and say is great.
Lakewood Center for the Arts - live performances, art shows
