Fourth of July in Lake Oswego is my favorite day of the year in LO. Why?
We can walk to everything from our Old Town neighborhood!
Free, fun concert at Millennium Plaza the evening of July 3rd from 7-8:30 pm.
Then on the 4th, the pancake breakfast is at George Rogers Park in our Old Town neighborhood. The Lake Oswego Lions Club will host their annual 4th of July Pancake Breakfast at George Rogers Park from 7 am to 11:30am.
Our Lake Oswego small town parade is so much fun to be in and watch! The parade starts at 10 am on A Avenue and ends at Millennium Plaza with live music and food booths.
In the afternoon go swimming at the Lake Oswego swim park. It's open from July 1 - August 31 with daily hours from 1 pm to 6 pm (weather permitting and if lifeguard requirements are met) for Lake Oswego residents with proof of residency. Neighbors, we can walk to 250 Ridgeway Road. They have lifeguards, inner tubs, lounge chairs and picnic tables. It's free. More information here.
For dinner, barbecue in your backyard with friends or go out to eat at the wonderful nearby restaurants we can walk to from Old Town: Nicolettas, Manns on the Lake, Lake Theater & Cafe or Willamette Valley Vineyards.
In the evening, walk to Foothills Park for a free concert and laser light show! Dance your dinner off! Concert starts at 8 pm. Laser light show to music starts at 10:15 pm. Then you can walk home and avoid all the traffic.
Here's the line-up from Parks & Rec and more information here

What are your favorite things to do in and around our Old Town neighborhood during the 4th of July?
