Refreshed tennis courts reopen
Just in time for the warmest day of the year, the George Rogers Tennis Courts reopened today. The once-every-three-year maintenance work was done over the last two days, sealing and smoothing cracks, along with other minor touches. The two courts--for tennis only--are right next to the baseball fields. Both should see a lot of action this weekend as the temperature is forecasted for the mid-80s on Sunday. photos by the author

Ain't no timber: Spot LO's "Tree of the week" in Old Town

Sign up now for 2026 Lake Oswego Lake Run
You can signup now for the 50th annual Lake Run. The Saturday, May 2 event will have a 5K, 10K, and Kid's Dash runs. The family-friendly event is also a fundraiser for Northwest Housing Alternatives. NHA provides affordable housing all over Oregon, including two properties for seniors in Lake Oswego.
